Session Prep Checklist
1/ Sign the Release Form
2/ Eat A Meal Before
Ignore this, and you might do the dizzy dance and staring at a whole lot of ceiling.. If that happens, we’ll have to cut your session short and reschedule for your safety. And don’t forget, snacks are your best friends—bring some along. I have some snacks and drinks for you too, if your feeling little bit of the munchies. But for my Full Day sessioners, don't worry were most likely going to doordash a bomb a** girl dinner mid-sesh.
3/ Wear Comfortable Clothing
Get ready to lounge in style because you might be sitting longer than a cat in a sunbeam! Opt for clothes that make it easy for me to your tattoo—no awkward strip gymnastics. (I have some pasties+covers to keep it classy during your appointment)
And let’s be real, inks and goo's can be a bit of a troublemaker while I'm working, so if you can rock some dark, budget-friendly attire to keep the ink on your skin and not your top, that would be awesome!
4/ Skin Prep
Come clean, showered, hydrated, and moisturized. Please avoid sunburns, fresh self-tanner, irritated skin, cuts or anything else that makes your skin angry. You do not need to shave the area, I got you covered.
Numbing Cream
Numbing cream is totally optional! However, I do NOT provide it, your welcome to use your own OTC topical numbing cream product if you would like. If you choose to use it:
- Follow the products directions carefully and do a patch test beforehand if you've never used it. Apply a thick layer on unbroken skin in the area we are going to tattoo at least 1 hour BEFORE your tattoo session. Wrap the area in cellophane to suffocate the area to allow the numbing to soak into the skin and be activated before your session. You can arrive with it on and I will remove the wrap+cream and clean your skin to prep for the tattoo. Numbing products are used at your own discretion.
5/ Bring Entertainment
Bring on the entertainment, folks! We got a TV loaded with every streaming platform and an epic playlist that will definitely end with a karaoke sesh during your appointment. But bring whatever tickles your fancy to keep you distracted and still while I work my magic! OR we can have quiet time, since you probably told your boss you needed work off for a "mental health day";)
6/ Guest Policy
Feel free to bring your entourage! We love moral support, as long as they’re there for YOU and your 2 cents! Try to limit only 1-3 guest though, we don't need a project X situation..
Just a heads up: kids and pets can't join the party (unless they’re certified service animals, of course— then they're the VIPs!)
7/ Parking + Location
My studio address is 4451 Dale Earnhardt Way Unit D13, Roanoke, Texas 76262. The Building complex is called "Urban Garages" Near the Texas Motor Speedway. My unit is facing the highway, with the clear glass garage doors. Parking is free! And theres plenty of parking so need to stress about finding any close spots or time limits to try and not get a ticket! When you arrive please park anywhere along the curb parking spots, closest to the gated fence. Theres no need to try and parallel park either girlies, there big enough you can just pull up and park.
8/ Paying Your Balance
✧Cash is queen✧ but we also accept Credit/Debit• Tap to Pay• Venmo• Zelle • Paypal • and Afterpay•
Just a heads up: card/tap payments (Apple Pay, Credit/Debit, Paypal, Afterpay etc.) come with a 10% processing fee because the payment companies like taking their little cut.
Venmo + Zelle don’t have the added fee
Using Afterpay Installment Payments? Just set up an account on the Afterpay app beforehand if you’d like to split your payments over time. After making an account, just add your Afterpay digital card to your tap to pay digital wallet, and it's just like using a tap to pay credit card in person. Really easy, I get paid upfront, & you pay your monthly payments through the Afterpay app.
