✣ All deposits are non-refundable, no exceptions.

• The deposit does apply to the appointment and deducted from your final price.

✣ Reschedule Policy

• If you need to reschedule your session, you must notify me at least 48 hours before your appointment date and time. I will roll your deposit to a new date to hold. Failure to notify me within 48 hours will result in the loss of your whole deposit.

• You must notify via email at | yayainkart@gmail.com

• Clients are permitted one (1) reschedule, during which the original deposit may be transferred to a new appointment date. To qualify, you must provide notice at least 48 hours prior to your session. All reschedule requests must be submitted through my assistant via email. Please note that only one reschedule is allowed, regardless of how early you notify us.

• If a second reschedule is requested—even with more than 48 hours’ notice—the original deposit will be forfeited with no exceptions. Yaya books only a few months in advance and cannot hold a deposit for long extended periods (such as half a year or longer). For this reason, the deposit from your first and only reschedule is valid and held for 5 months from the date of your original appointment. Clients must secure the new appointment date within this  window to keep deposit valid.

• If that window passes, or if a second reschedule is requested, the original deposit is forfeited and a new deposit will be required to book again.

✣ No Call/No Shows

• Failure to arrive within 20 minutes of your scheduled appointment time without contacting me will be considered a no-call, no-show. This will result in the forfeiture of your deposit, a cancellation fee, and removal from my client list for all future bookings.

  Our time and commitment to The Fallen Fig is very important, we care and put in all of our time and support to our clients and art, and and no-call/no-show appointments are unacceptable and will not be tolerated, and why we simply remove from future bookings.

✣ Designs will not be shown or sent prior to your scheduled appointment

• To provide every client with the best experience, Yaya does not send or show tattoo designs prior to your appointment. Your custom artwork is created specifically for you and is finalized around your scheduled appointment. Your design is based on all the detail provided in Your form, that is why we ask to include of the details and photos within that time to make sure, the design is finalized to all your specifications for her drawing to be streamlined. Design previews are not provided in advance for the following reasons:

• Artwork Protection: Unfortunately, custom designs have been copied and taken to other artists in the past.

• Better Communication: Tattoo designs are much easier to review and adjust together in person than through emails or text messages.

• Dedicated Design Time: Yaya schedules her drawing time around upcoming appointments so each client receives her full attention.Your appointment includes time to review your design before tattooing begins. Minor adjustments such as sizing, placement, proportions, and small details can be made at that time to ensure you’re happy with the final design before any tattooing starts. If your project requires significant changes from what was originally submitted (approximately 50% or more), additional drawing time or a rescheduled appointment may be necessary. Please submit all of your reference photos, ideas, and must-have details with your inquiry form before your appointment. The more complete your submission, the better Yaya can prepare your custom design.

✣  Design Changes

• If your requested revisions result in half of the design or more being changed, the additional drawing and editing time needed will be applied toward your appointment time. Please be aware that substantial design revisions may reduce the amount of tattooing that can be completed during your session..

• If you request to change the whole design completely after booking, you must submit a new form to my assistant at a minimum of one (1) week before your appointment. However, I can not guarantee the approval of your re-submission or the immediate reschedule of your session as it would need to accommodate date my existing bookings. You will be subject to the loss of your deposit if the change is denied. I can refer you to another tattoo artist, or you may substitute it for a small design during your scheduled appointment to replace the non-refundable deposit paid. 

✣  Tattoo forms inquiry while my books are closed may not be seen or reviewed during those periods.

• During busy time periods, Books will be closed to allow to focus on the existing  clients and appointments for a couple months, until were ready to take on more projects. On her instagram bio, will have a status of whether her booking status is opening to receive new forms or if she is closing them temporary. 

✣ Touch-ups policy

• Touch-ups are complimentary for as long as the client books another future appointment. The complimentary touch-up will be done at that future visit, just include a note about adding one in your new form for that new project, and it will be included in that new appointment. 

• Yaya offers one complimentary touch-up on tattoos she has completed, provided it is requested within 6 months of your original appointment. 

✧ To qualify:

• The tattoo must have been properly cared for during the healing process. 

• It must be completely healed, typically tattoos take at least 4 weeks to be healed to preform a touch-up/rework.

• The touch-up must be for normal healing inconsistencies only (such as small areas of ink loss).

• An appointment is required, and availability may vary.

✧ A complimentary touch-up does not cover:

• Changes to the original design.
  Adding new details, or expanding the tattoo.
  Damage caused by improper aftercare, sun exposure, picking, scratching, or injury.
  Normal aging or fading after the 6-month touch-up period.

• If more than 6 months have passed since your tattoo appointment, or the touch-up falls outside the conditions above, it will be treated as a new service and billed at Yaya’s current quarter da minimum rate. 

To request a touch-up, please email her assistant Claire at our email | @yayaink.com with clear photos of your healed tattoo or include it in your form if your wanting to pair the touch up with a new project.

✣ Reference Image & Design Policy

• Providing clear reference images and a detailed description of your idea is an important part of the design process.

✧Your inquiry should include:

• Clear inspiration photos. A written description of your must-have elements.

• A clear photo of the placement on your actual body and placement of that area. The design is completley custom to YOU, and Yaya can't draw a design without seeing your specific body type, size, skin complexion, etc to take into account for your design. This is why we require an actually placement picture of you spefically.

• Any other references that help communicate your vision.

If your submission is incomplete or unclear, we may ask for additional reference images or information before your appointment can be approved or designed.

✧ Please understand that the quality of your reference material directly impacts the design process. If sufficient information is not provided, the final tattoo may not fully reflect the vision you had in mind, as Yaya can only design from the information provided.

• We ask to not send AI-generated images in your form idea they also cannot be used as a final design or expected to be copied exactly. Due to anatomical inaccuracies, unrealistic details, and non-tattooable elements, we ask that you sent us inspo photos of real tattoo references, artwork, hand sketches to help communicate your project vision. 

✧  Yaya does not copy another artist’s tattoo or artwork line-for-line. Copyrighted artwork, existing tattoos, and another artist’s original design will not be replicated. All reference images are used as inspiration to create a custom tattoo in Yaya’s artistic style.

Yaya reserves the right to decline projects that do not provide enough information, rely solely on AI-generated imagery, or request the direct copying of another artist’s work.

✣ Photography & Content Policy

• Yaya may photograph or record your tattoo before, during, and after your appointment for educational, portfolio, website, advertising, and social media purposes.

• By booking an appointment, you grant permission for these photos and videos to be used by Yaya and The Fallen Fig Tattoo unless you notify us before your appointment that you would prefer your tattoo not be shared.

✣ Age, ID & Consent Policy

• In accordance with Texas state law, all clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo.

• A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at every appointment. No exceptions will be made.

• Before your tattoo begins, you will be required to complete and sign all required consent, waiver, and health history forms as required by the State of Texas. Refusal to complete these forms will result in your appointment being canceled.

✣  Health Policy

Your health and safety are our top priority. If a reschedule is needed to keep you or Yaya safe, please don't be afraid to communicate to us to make that happen.

✧ Please notify us before your appointment if you:

• Are feeling sick or have a contagious illness.

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding.

• Have a medical condition that may affect the tattooing process or healing.

• Are taking blood thinners or other medications that may affect bleeding or healing.

Yaya reserves the right to postpone or decline any appointment if tattooing is not in the client’s best interest or cannot be performed safely.

All medical information provided on your consent forms must be truthful and complete.
