How do I book an appointment?

To book an appointment, click on the 'Booking' menu. Complete the Tattoo Form completely.Once you submit  your form, I or my assistant will respond within a few days with a email of approval of your form, custom quote and a booking link to schedule your appointment.Once the price estimate and the design plan are confirmed, visit My Availability and you can book your session for a date and time that's best for your schedule. I would suggest you schedule your session as quickly as possible as my books fill up very quickly, especially weekend slots. It will ask you for a deposit to hold your appointment, once sent you will receive a confirmation text and an email for your new tattoo appointment, along with updates, reminders, and an pre-appointment checklist to prepare for your session. Question 2

I need to reschedule my appointment, What do I do?

If you need to reschedule your appointment, you must notify me via email at least 48 hours before your appointment. If you fail to notify me before then you unfortunately forfeit that deposit. I understand life happens and sometimes you need to change a date. I offer you 1 reschedule if you notify me before the 48 hours of your appointment. If you need to reschedule again after the 1st rescheduled appointment, unfortunately the deposit will be forfeited as well {regardless if you notify me before the 48 hours}. Your deposit is valid for 5 months for the first reschedule, if you fail to communicate with me or my assistant  about a new date for you reschedule; you will need to rebook your appointment on my site with a new deposit.This is a policy I had to imply because of constant rescheduling clients that get pushed back so far, that they leave gaps in my schedule and it gets very hard to fill, And that spot someone else who wanted that appointment couldn't get. So please be mindful of the dates you are scheduling with me and make sure you are picking dates that work for you and not to just take the spot, because this policy is non-negotiable and has been sign and agreed to when you book with me. What if I am a returning client with a new project?

We’re so excited to tattoo you again! Even if you’re a returning client, we ask that you submit a new Tattoo Inquiry Form for every new project. This gives us the most up-to-date information on your idea, placement, sizing, budget, and reference images so we can accurately quote and design your tattoo.Please don’t assume we remember details from previous conversations or appointments—we work with a lot of clients, and every project is different. Filling out a new inquiry form helps us keep everything organized and ensures your new tattoo gets the attention it deserves!

How do I book mutiple time slots if my tattoo will take longer than one session?

If your project is estimated to take multiple sessions, you have two options:Option 1: Book only your first appointment. At the end of each session, we’ll schedule your next appointment while you’re in the studio. This allows us to see exactly how your tattoo is healing and estimate the remaining time more accurately.Option 2: If you already know your availability and want to reserve multiple dates before they get booked, you’re welcome to book multiple appointments directly through Yaya’s online calendar. The system will require a deposit for each appointment you reserve, but each deposit will be applied to that specific session’s total. If you’re booking multiple sessions in advance, please space them at least 3–4 weeks apart to allow your skin adequate time to heal between appointments.If you’re unsure how many sessions your tattoo will need, we generally recommend booking your first appointment and scheduling the remaining sessions as you go.

Do you take group or couple tattoos and is there a group rate?

Absolutely! Yaya is happy to tattoo couples, friends, or small groups on the same day.Each person will still need to submit their own Tattoo Inquiry Form and mention they are part of a group or party and include the names so we can design for each person accordingly.  Depending on the size and complexity of each tattoo, we can typically accommodate 2–6 people in a dayTo book, you have two options:Book a Full Day Session: Reserve the Full Day appointment and split the deposit and session cost among your group however you’d like. This is a great option if you’re all getting smaller tattoos.Book Individual Time Slots: Each person can reserve their own appointment by booking either the 10:30 AM or 2:30 PM time slot on the same day and paying their own deposit. If you’d like to come together, everyone is welcome to arrive during the morning appointment and spend the day together while each person is tattooed during their reserved time.There is no special group pricing, as each tattoo is still quoted individually based on its size, placement, detail, and estimated tattoo time.

Can I cancel my appointment?

Yes, you may cancel your appointment at any time. However, all deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances. Before booking, we provide plenty of information—including our portfolio, pricing, FAQs, policies, and booking process—so you can decide if Yaya is the right fit before committing.Once your appointment is booked, time has already been reserved for you, and work on your project may have already begun. Because of that, deposits cannot be refunded, regardless of the reason for cancellation.We understand that life happens. If something unexpected comes up, we’re always happy to discuss rescheduling your appointment or, when possible, adjusting or pivoting your tattoo idea on a case-by-case basis to help keep your appointment. If your concern is simply feeling nervous or unsure about the design, please reach out—we’re happy to answer questions and help you feel confident before your appointment.
